We’re not real fans! We’re actually those weird Dyson Air Multipliers. We don’t even have any blades:(
So… basically anyone who values Castiel and enjoys what he brings to the show isn’t a “real” fan. So… Kripke, all of the showrunners since Kripke, the producers, the Js, and all of the writers from S4 onwards aren’t “real” fans.
I’m not a fan. I’m an air-conditioner.

in purgatory, the prayers were his constant, his moments of hope away from the dirt and grime of purgatory that was every day on the brink of turning him into one of the monsters he fought. he clung to those prayers and they clung to him.
so when he’s back home, he keeps praying, a habit that he can’t shake. but now they feel more like apologizes, murmured under his breath in the dark. and he’s praying more for cas than to him and if he doubts cas can even hear him anymore, it doesn’t seem to matter.
when cas comes back, he doesn’t need them. because what are prayer to touches, to gazes, to words? to deep blues and grays in motion?
when it’s all ripped away from him yet again, the habit comes back to him, like an old friend come to console. and this time he prays for them all. he prays because it feels right, because he knows that if he keeps hoping cas is on the other side, he will come back, like always.
dean wasn’t much for praying, until he put his faith in an angel.
